I swear under pain of penalty for perjury that I will never, ever harass anybody with a Kickstarter fund for anything, if you just do T H I S.

I am “poor”, but I can certainly afford to temporarily allocate $50 in loans to somebody in a country that has almost no loan infrastructure and is trying to start or sustain a small business that will entirely change their quality of life, and in total costs literally sometimes as little as 250 USD. There is a possibility that you will not get your money repaid, it happens in any loan transaction, but I think the odds are projected at least 2/3rds in your favor.

I’ve been feeling really at odds with the internet lately, but this has completely rejuvenated my faith in it.
